A grandfather's story to his grandson Tomáš about overcoming fear, the importance of life values and the inner strength within us all. The story is based on the work "Karol, ktorý zostal swietym", which follows Karol Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II. Tomáš is a young talented artist who listens to the stories that his grandfather and his peers lived with Karol Wojtyl years ago when he was persecuted. In Poland, "officials" banned the church construction in Nova Huta, saying that people do not need churches or repentance. Karol Wojtyla fought for respect and recognition of the "national superiors" with his unyielding attitude and faith in God. Believers stood up for and with him and for their convictions.
